This is an early Android preview. It includes the offline catalog and local library tools; online catalog refresh and PDF menus are not yet available. Visual Drink Search now reads drink labels on-device from the live camera or a photo; it does not identify unlabeled drinks by appearance. It has been tested on an emulator, not a physical Android phone.

The bundled drink library works offline. Personal drinks, photos, favorites and ingredients stay on this device. No account, syncing or tipping.

What’s new in preview 8

1,654 bundled drinks with refreshed artwork, including recent sparkling waters, spirits, THC drinks and fictional favorites.
A unified search and action bar with Settings on the outside, one customizable shortcut, and direct Favorite and Share actions on drink cards.
Left/right controls and a landscape preference in Appearance.
Stronger touch feedback where supported and an animated gold Favorite star.
Live label lookup, plus Take Photo and Choose Photo, with a fixed preview and scrolling results. Recognition runs on-device; see the Android privacy details below.

Install and update

Download the APK on your Android device.
Open it and allow this browser or file app to install unknown apps when Android asks.
Install Liquidly. You can disable that installation permission afterwards.

For updates, install the new APK over the existing app. Do not uninstall first: uninstalling removes local data. Use Settings → Export library to keep a manual backup. Private Locker notes are excluded from backups.

Apple and Android libraries do not sync. See Android privacy and support.
